Back from Bangladesh, Photos uploaded

Got back from Bangladesh last week. :) Published the first batch of photos: http://www.kheldon.net/mypictures/v/travels/bd08/. Today, I went to the city with my friend and business partner David, the pictures from that are here: http://www.kheldon.net/mypictures/v/events/promenad/.

Those pictures aren’t completely uploaded yet at the time of writing…give it an hour or so. :P

Off to Bangladesh!

First trip this summer is to Bangladesh. And a long one it is. -_- Leaving today and I won’t be back until July 18th..roughly five weeks. I’ll be back on my birthday! :D

I most likely won’t have access to Internet other than to check email…if even that; we’ll be travelling around a lot. I’ll have to find Internet cafés to get my Internet fix.

But 5 weeks without daily access….*shivers*

Passed International Management and OrgTheory!

YAY! Just checked the school website and I passed my last two courses! The first was Classic and Modern Organisation Theory; I passed the exam with two points margin. :P Good enough! The second is International Management which had a final paper, which I got 90 on! That means I get a VG on the entire course…which translates to an A!

Thought that’s a bit scewed(sp?) since at this school there are only 2-3 grade levels… There’s U which means failing the course. There is G, which is passing. And only some courses have the third grade VG, which means passing with distinction.

Now I just have to finish and get a passing grade on this thesis I’m writing on risk management and then I have 1 year left until I get my MSSC in Business Administration. :D I’ll probably do my last semester at Stockholm University (atm I am enrolled in Södertörn University College) so that I can pick up my Master’s degree from SU.

Whee! And now time for sleep!

The summer is here….soon…sooooon

It’s snowing. It’s snowing more now than it did all of December, January and February and I am not pleased. At this point, the snow is supposed to start melting away. Bleh. But the sun is out as well, and that’s nice. I’ve missed it.

I am about to start writing my Bachelor’s essay/dissertation. It will be about Risk Management, how it’s used and why and to what extent. And maybe go into the possibility that overzealous use of RM might lead to poor decisions due to the decisionmaker not being willing to take well…risks. We’ll see, my writing parther and I are talking to the professor about it. She has to OK it before we can start working although we have arleady contacted companies such as MSC Konsult AB, an IT consulting firm and PricewaterhouseCoopers, the accounting agency.

And if all goes well, I will be finished with my Master of Social Science in Business Administration in June of next year.

Back to this year…still looking for a summer job between my coming back from Bangladesh and leaving for Leipzig. The whole family is going this time, leaving on the 13th of June. And when we get back, I’ll have exactly a month to work and get some cash to spend for my trip to GC Germany in August.

And right now…I have to keep taking my driving lessons and hopefully get my licence before the summer. :P

Back from Paris!

Alright! Another travel update! I got back from Paris today. I went there on a quick trip, flew out on Sunday morning and flew back on Tuesday afternoon, to visit a cousin of mine who moved there a couple of years ago. One of my first cousins and nobody had visited him since he arrived in Europe, which is sucky because Ryanair tickets go forliike 200SEK for a return flight.

So I packed up a bag and flew over. Had a great time even if it was for such a short period and got to get a glimpse of most major sights in the city. Next time, I’ll go with more time on my hands so I can check everything out properly.

Took lots of photos though, uploading them now. They will be available on my gallery in an hour or so…170+ pics of variying quality.

Next up…getting back to focusin on school, L60M, CRA Group, TMMOG and Stratics Central…oh and my part time job sorting files in a credit file vault at a major bank. Well, at least I’m keeping myself busy. :P

I emailed our business advisor a timeline and contract draft for CRA’s first project, which is still secret….but were moving forward and have an idea of when we’ll be be able to finish it. :)

Now to continue uploading pics and relax before it’s time to sleep. Got a seminar tomorrow.

Back from Barcelona!

*phew* Just got back from Barcelona! If I had brought my laptop, I would have posted from there and uploaded pictures..but I didn’t and decided to focus everything on the trip. Had an awesome time. Just me and my sister at the Catalonian capitol.

I’ll be uploading the pictures tonight.

Ah, summer

Haven’t update in a while. But things are going nicely. Got my summer job, where I’m sitting right now to type up this update, and The MMO Gamer is updating pretty regularly and generally doing well. all the numbers are pointing up!

I’m also looking forward to the Barcelona trip I’m giong on with my sister this August. Just a short trip, from Aug 11th to 14th, but better than nothing. And hoping to upgrade my PC after the summer and then buy a laptop at the end of the year! And a DSLR camera too if I can afford it. :P
